# An employee's hours, days off and overtime

> In Weplanify, the usual hours on the record serve as the reference on days when the employee has neither a shift in the planning nor a standard week.

In Weplanify, usual hours are set in the **Position and organization** section of the record, under **Hours and days off**.

## Steps

1. On the record, click **Edit** in **Position and organization**.
2. Set the **Start time**, the **End time** and the **Default break**.
3. Choose their **Default rest days**: a shifted day off (Tuesday, Wednesday…) is set here.
4. Click **Save section**.
