> In Weplanify, add to every slot a piece of information specific to your business, such as the vehicle, client or zone, and show it in the grid.

In Weplanify, custom fields complete the slot window, under **Note, tasks and fields**.

## Steps

1. Open **Filters → Groups, job and display → Planning settings**, **Custom fields** tab.
2. Click **Add a field**: label, type (text, number, list of choices) and placeholder.
3. Tick **Required**, **Visible on form** or **Show on list**, then **Save** and **Finish**.

## Good to know

- The field is filled in each [slot](https://weplanify.io/docs/planning.creer-un-creneau?lang=en), and in bulk with [Edit](https://weplanify.io/docs/planning.selection-multiple?lang=en).
- In the [filters](https://weplanify.io/docs/planning.filtres?lang=en), **Display** shows the field directly on the grid's slots.
