In Weplanify, drag and drop is the quickest way to reorganise a week, in the view by employee.

## Steps

1. Click a slot and hold the mouse button down.
2. Drag it onto another cell: another day, or another employee's row.
3. Release: the slot is moved.
4. To copy instead of moving, hold the **Alt** (or **Ctrl**) key while dragging.

## Good to know

- The slot's schedule, site and job are kept; any conflict is flagged in the grid.
- A moved slot becomes a draft again: [publish](https://weplanify.io/docs/planning.publier?lang=en) again.
- Moving a slot from the [usual week](https://weplanify.io/docs/planning.planning-recurrent?lang=en) asks whether to change only this week or the whole usual week. For a whole week: [copy a week](https://weplanify.io/docs/planning.copier-une-semaine?lang=en).
