# Set a minimum staffing level per site and job

> In Weplanify, set how many people you need at the very least per site, job and shift, and be warned whenever the planning falls short of that level.

In Weplanify, a staffing target says how many people are needed at least, for example "3 storekeepers in the morning at Entrepôt Rufisque".

![Planning settings, Staffing tab: Entrepôt Rufisque, Storekeeper, 3 minimum](https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/weplanify/o/docs%2Fplanning%2Fmaj-2026-09-28%2Fpl-objectifs-a527af5b.webp?alt=media&token=48003d68-c4a7-40d7-b9e4-1395db07e74b)

## Steps

1. Open **Filters → Groups, job and display → Planning settings**, **Staffing** tab.
2. Click **Add objective**.
3. Choose the site, the job (or all), the shift (or the whole day), the days and the **Min. staff**, then **Save**.
4. Click **Finish**.

## Good to know

- Targets are checked when [publishing](https://weplanify.io/docs/planning.publier?lang=en) and with **Refresh** in the [alerts](https://weplanify.io/docs/planning.alertes?lang=en): each day below the minimum gives a "Target not met" alert.
- Each [workspace](https://weplanify.io/docs/planning.espaces-de-travail?lang=en) has its own targets.
