# Publish the planning

> In Weplanify, publish the week so that your employees see their slots: as long as they are drafts, only the people managing the planning can see them.

- Product: Weplanify (https://weplanify.io)
- Section: Scheduling
- Web page: https://weplanify.io/docs/planning.publier?lang=en

- Last updated: 2026-09-29

In Weplanify, a new or edited slot is a draft (dotted border). Next to the dates, the status reads "Draft, not yet visible to employees" or "Published".

## Steps

1. Review the week and its drafts.
2. Click **Publish … slots**, at the top right: the button only shows while drafts remain.
3. If [alerts](https://weplanify.io/docs/planning.alertes?lang=en) show (understaffing), fix them then publish again if needed.

## Good to know

- Each employee concerned is notified and sees their planning in the [mobile app](https://weplanify.io/docs/application-mobile.planning?lang=en).
- In month view, Publish covers the whole month shown. Publishing follows the current [filters](https://weplanify.io/docs/planning.filtres?lang=en) (sites, groups).
- [Staffing targets](https://weplanify.io/docs/planning.objectifs?lang=en) are checked at that moment.
