Step 3: Open Access Settings

Within the employee profile, navigate to the Access Settings section.

This area allows you to define the employee's access level within Weplanify.

Step 4: Select the User Role

Weplanify offers three different access levels:

Employee

Employees can access their personal workspace to:

  • View their schedules
  • Clock in and out
  • Submit leave and absence requests
  • Access their personal information

Manager

Managers have extended permissions that allow them to supervise teams and perform management tasks based on the permissions assigned to them.

Administrator

Administrators have full access to the organization's modules and settings.

They can:

  • Manage employees
  • Create and manage schedules
  • Monitor attendance records
  • Manage groups and departments
  • Configure organizational settings
  • Access reports and analytics

Step 5: Enter the Employee's Email Address

For Manager and Administrator roles, a valid email address is required.

This email address will be used to access the Weplanify web platform.

Step 6: Save the Changes

Click Save Settings to apply the new access permissions.

The employee will then be able to log in to the Weplanify web platform using their email address and access the features associated with their assigned role.

Best Practices

✅ Grant only the permissions required for each user's responsibilities.

✅ Reserve Administrator access for trusted users who need full control over the organization.

✅ Verify the email address before saving the settings.

✅ Regularly review user permissions to maintain security and compliance.

With Weplanify's role management system, you can easily assign Employee, Manager, or Administrator access levels, ensuring that every user has the right tools and permissions to perform their duties efficiently while keeping your organization's data secure.
