This feature is available across multiple modules of the platform, including:
  • Employees
  • Schedules
  • Attendance
  • Leave Management
  • Tasks
  • Reports
  • Workflows
  • And other compatible sections

💡 Advanced filters work the same way throughout all Weplanify pages, making them easy to learn and use across the platform.

Step 1 - Open the Filter Panel

From the left-side menu, open the page where you want to perform your search.

In this example, we are using the Employees module.

At the top of the list, click the Filters button.

A dropdown menu will appear showing all available fields that can be used as filter criteria, including:

  • Title
  • Email
  • Phone Number
  • Employee ID
  • Position
  • Manager
  • Site
  • Department
  • Default Start Time
  • Hide in Schedule
  • And many other fields

Step 2 - Add Your First Filter

Select the field you want to filter by.

In the video example, the Site field is selected.

Once selected, the filter automatically appears in the active filter bar above the list.

Step 3 - Choose a Condition

Each filter provides different conditions depending on the selected field type.

The most common conditions include:

  • is → matches an exact value
  • is not → excludes a value
  • is filled → displays only records containing a value
  • is empty → helps identify missing data

After selecting the condition, choose the desired value from the dropdown list.

You can also type directly into the search field to quickly find available values.

Example:

  • type afr
  • quickly find Afro Shop

The filtered list updates instantly in real time.

In the video example, the list changes from 33 employees to 17 employees after applying the site filter.

Step 4 - Combine Multiple Filters (AND Logic)

To refine results further, click + Filter to add another condition.

Filters are automatically combined using AND logic.

This means results must match:

  • the first filter
  • AND the second filter simultaneously

In the example:

  • Site = Afro Shop
  • AND Position = Salesperson

The list is then reduced to employees matching both conditions.

Step 5 - Add Multiple Values (OR Logic)

Within the same filter, you can click + or to add alternative values.

Example:

  • Position = Salesperson
  • OR Position = Manager

This allows you to broaden results while keeping the same filter category.

Quickly Search for Fields

If you cannot find the field you need, simply use the search bar at the top of the filter menu.

Weplanify automatically displays:

  • matching fields,
  • or the message “No field found” if nothing matches your search.

Final Result

In the example shown:

  • Site = Afro Shop
  • AND Position = Salesperson

The employee list is reduced from 33 employees to only 4 results, matching exactly the salespeople working at the Afro Shop site.

Active filters always remain visible above the list.

You can:

  • remove a single filter using the × button
  • or reset all filters using the reset button

  • Filter by any available field
  • Quickly search for precise information
