How lateness, missing time and overtime are computed
In Weplanify, each clocked day is compared with the planned slot: here is where lateness, missing time, time worked and overtime all come from.
In Weplanify, each day is compared with what was planned: the day's slot or, failing that, the hours on the employee record.
The figures
- Lateness: first arrival minus planned start.
- Missing time (early leave): planned end minus last exit.
- Total time (span, break included): from the first arrival to the last exit.
- Time worked: time present minus the break.
- Overtime: time worked beyond the planned duration.
Good to know
- The break used is the one entered, otherwise the slot's, otherwise the record's.
- Overtime only counts if its tracking is on.
- Example: Morning slot 06:00 → 14:00, arrival 06:15, exit 14:00: 15 min late. A day without an exit counts as 0 h until it is fixed.
