Weekly duration: company and employee record
In Weplanify, the company's weekly duration applies to everyone unless an employee record has its own; a change can also be applied to those records.
In Weplanify, the weekly duration is the threshold for overtime and for the alerts of the planning. It is set for the company, and an employee record can have its own.
Steps
- Open Settings → Time and attendance → Overtime. The Weekly threshold (hours) line shows when overtime tracking or the over-duration alert is on.
- Change the value, for example from 40 h to 44 h, then click Save.
- If some records still say 40 h, the window Also apply to the 3 employees who have 40 h? lists them: click Set the 3 records to 44 h, or Keep their duration.
- For one employee apart, open their record, block Hours and days off, and fill in Weekly duration.
Good to know
- A record without a duration already follows the company: nothing to change.
- The alert Alert when an employee goes over their weekly duration uses the duration of their record, otherwise that of their site, otherwise the company's.
- The generation reads contract hours; it only keeps to them when the contract hours rule is on in the schedule settings.
