Check and publish a generated schedule
In Weplanify, the last step calculates the schedule, shows every place not covered with its reason and a one-click fix, then publishes the schedule.
In Weplanify, step 3 of the generation, Check and publish, starts the calculation as soon as you get there. Nothing is published before you click.
Steps
- Wait for the end of the calculation: "The schedule is calculated: 54 days placed out of 56 requested." The table of people placed follows, day by day.
- Read each place not covered: the day, the shift, the job, then the reason, for example "Awa Ndiaye is on leave."
- If a fix suits you, click it: Take Moussa Sall, Allow … to go beyond « … » this week, Keep 1 that day or Ask nobody that day. The calculation runs again.
- Click Publish, or See the schedule to read the draft in the grid.
Good to know
- When you publish, what is missing becomes positions to fill, offered to the employees of this schedule who have the same job.
- In the grid, a generated draft shows "2 places not covered in this draft · See and offer": tick places, then Offer as positions to fill.
- The line "According to your rules: …" recalls the rules applied, night guard included.
- Once published, each employee sees their schedule; any later change is flagged to them. More: publish the planning.
