Adjust the split of the week
In Weplanify, the split says how many people you need each day, morning, evening and night, per job: change a number and read what it changes first.
In Weplanify, step 2 of the generation shows the split of the week. It is calculated from your settings and from who can come: you only change what is different this week.
Steps
- Read the table: one column per day, one row per shift (morning, evening, night) with the number of people; the arrow of a shift unfolds the detail per job. At the bottom, the rows present, off, away and, when people are short, missing.
- Click a day or a number: the day opens on the right, each job in morning, evening and night. Set the number with − and +.
- Read What it changes: for example "Fatou Diop will work on Saturday morning. Her day off will move to another day of the week."
- In Apply to, choose this day, monday to saturday or the whole week, then click Confirm.
Good to know
- Lowering a number frees people: a window offers who takes an extra day off this week, suggesting the person with the most days in a row or the fewest days off. Change the choice if you prefer someone else.
- If nobody can come, the day says so ("2 sales staff will be missing") and offers to take day labourers or to keep the gap. Places left empty can be offered at the next step.
- The « … » menu of a job sets never empty in the morning (or evening, night) and Remove this change. Below the table, Add a job; a job removed only counts for this week.
- In terracotta, what you changed; in amber, a shift below the usual number. The usual numbers are set in the usual split.
