Availability, people « as needed » and the reserve
In Weplanify, set when each person can come; a contractor paid per presence can come « as needed », only when people are needed and never for extra days.
In Weplanify, each person in the schedule has their availability and preferences. The generation follows them, week after week.
Steps
- At step 1 who works, tap a name, or tick several people then Availability and preferences.
- At the top, choose This week only or Every week.
- Tap the morning, evening and night boxes of each day: in green, the person can come. Set the Working days per week and their preferences, followed if possible only.
- In Days off, choose like the company rule or as needed, then save.
Good to know
- As needed: planned only when people are needed, never for extra days. It suits contractors paid per presence, such as a stand-by security guard. The mention shows under their name and the calculation turns to the others first.
- More options: the Possible sites (empty: their usual site), the Skills, the team and Who with.
- Reopening a slot, changing the number of days, the team, the sites or the skills applies to every week.
- With rotating teams, the Reserve gathers polyvalent people without a team: mention "reserve", they replace absent people and are called only when needed. See teams and rotations.
- Someone paid by the day without an employee record is taken another way: take day labourers.
